$2,500 - Build me a laptop please!

Hello all

First-time poster, long-time reader. I have a budget of $2,500 for a custom built laptop. I was looking at the Sager NP-8268-S on one of the popular custom building sites, but wanted input from you all?

I mainly use the laptop for basic stuff (email, web, torrent, music, movies etc), as well as for work (log in through citrix, and a host of programs my firm uses). I would like to start getting back into games a bit, such as Final Fantasy (when new one comes out), GTA 5, stuff like that. For storage, I would ideally like a SSD for OS for fast boot-up and program loading, and for other a fast drive to tore everything (almost 1tb of music).

Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Laptops you will have to look at sites that offer custom ones. Options for a DIY laptop are pretty much non existent. Don't think you need a custom one anyway. I am sure MSI and Asus have setups that would be perfect for what you want. This one is right at your max budget, and would be pretty damn fast.

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. I am not looking for a DIY laptop (I'm not that handy...) I have $2,500 to spend on one of the sites that custom build machines.

The best you are really going to get is what has already been suggested. Ibuypower is one of those custom shops, and even their rep is recommending the same exact laptop, that I did.
