2 channel 220 watts amplifier

HI...I have 2 channel 220 watts amplifier what does it mean.........IN my system i have 8 zones so how many speakers can i connect in one speaker line..and which type of speakers i have to use

The amp is two channel, means you can only connect two speakers unless you use a distributor to split the signal. Type of speaker you will use depends on what use you are using them for. As an alternate to an impedance matching speaker selector you can use impedance matching volume controls. This would add the ability to adjust volume for each zone separately.

Hi...Actually i bought Honeywell X-Dcs2000/en system which consists 8 zone and various amplifier like 1 channel 500 watts ,2 channel 250 watts and 4 channel 125 watts. In my case if use 9 speakers which i divided into 5 zones....which type of amplifier i have to use and which type of cable i have to run
