"20% of Consumers See Online TV as Pay TV Replacement"

20% of Consumers see FREE online TV as Pay TV Replacement...
in other news Data caps are dropping through the floor and overage surcharges are on a constant rise.

I MIGHT pay for tv if it had ZERO commercials.

but even then, a lot of the stuff I see when im at friends places, is a total waste of time

I hope services like Netflix will get companies such as Videotron and Bell out of business, here in Canada, ending the duopoly reign.

"20 percent of consumers would consumer such a move"
That makes no sense.

Anyway, I've found that there's so much garbage on TV that it's not worth having. Besides, I like watching things when I want to, not when they feel like showing it. Sure, I can get a DVR, but internet TV sources don't have any of that. (and I already have a computer)

Those numbers are waaay off everyone i know watches tv on the internet there is sooo much garbage on tv very few shows to watch its not worth paying for normal tv.
I have not watched normal tv for more than 10 years tv is going the way music industry did with the internet if they don't adapt they will end up like the music distributors.
Just look at cable 800 channels most are duplicates lots are garbage and other language channels that you pay for but don't watch that type of service is no longer wanted.
