250 ohm speakers

Make and model of the speakers?
Are they small enough to fit into a headphone? That would be the only application I can think of.
You can use them on any amplifier since higher impedance is always safe but it cuts the output power by a huge amount. A 200 watt per channel into 8 ohm amp would put out about 6 watts into a 250 ohm load.

Those should have a field coil on them like these

They will require a power supply for their electromagnets as well as an amplifier.
