2nos 4 ohm speakers connect to amp

I have 4 ohm speakers, can I connect to avr in series wiring method

If you hook them in series with 4-8 ohms speakers it should be safe. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish but just adding more speakers is usually not as good as just using the best ones,
