4k Laptop Issues

Hye Guys, i wanted to tell u Something....
Recently, I had bought a Gaming Laptop MSI GE62 2QF

And U know what ??!

I felt TOTALLY Regret buying this Laptop.... cause :

it is equipped with UHD Display.... i felt regret cause

It IS BOTTLENECk at 48Hz !! My Display is VERY BEAUTIFUL but the PERFORMANCE is VERYx3 LOW.... The Display is very lagging and stutter at certain time even though it have a QuadCore CPu i7 4720HQ.... This is because intel use OPTIMUS method to render Display... even Intel nowAdays still NOT SUPPORTED UHD / 4K Display....

Then, because of the UHD Display, U Gonna LOW Down Ur RESOLUTION in Almost Every GAme.... As for Skyrim... :

# Not Modded (Vanilla) :
Use resolution 1920 x 1080 , MAX FPS reach : 38 FPS
Use resolution 1280 x 720, MAX FPS 50 FPS
# Modded Heavily :
Use resolution 1920 x 1080, MAX FPS reach : 32 FPS....
Use resolution 1280 x 720, MAX FPS : 49 FPS


That is for SkyRim (Legendary Edition)......



This issue is the Same as :
(Lenovo y50 4k Issue)

the COre of Problem ? = the Hardware of UHD/4k Display.....

**** So, As for now, I shall wait for 6 Months to wait (Hopefully) for the Patch to Fixed this kind of thing..... If there is no SOLUTION, then i got NO OTHER CHOICE other then DOWNGRADING my UHD display to FHD IPS Display....

Please be Reminded... DONT BUY UHD/4k Display Laptops !!!

SomeOne who knows to Fix this BAD Thing, Please Give 'US' the Answer to 'Survive' !!
I had try to change to lower Resolution, but still, it BottleNeck to 48Hz... For me i need to get AT LEAST 60 Hz..... SomeOne!! Help !!

Solution: Don't invest in a laptop with a 4k display and expect great performance. Even the high end desktop GPUs need SLI to perform over 60 fps.

Hardware cannot be changed, nor can broken hearts be fixed, but lessons can be learned and wisdom can be gained.

Yes there are lower res models from MSI. Not sure if they would let you return a product that hasn't failed; something for you to check into yourself since you own it.

Usually, what is the Average price for UHD IPS display 15.6inch for Laptop? and FHD Display? I thing that i gonna DownGrade it soon but when think about the Price..... Man its Hard !!!

They may charge you to downgrade at this point. Price depends on region/country.

Oh Yes, When I was doing some Research about the Specs of my MSI GE62 2QF....

My Head Keep Asking me.... :

1) Does My Laptop can be DownGraded from 15.6 UHD IPS Display to FHD Display???

** Why did I keep Asking??

= Because There is 2 Version of MSI GE62 2QF :

1) One with UHD,
2) & One with FHD

The HUGE Difference that makes me Think about the Possibilities for My Laptop to DownGrade is :

1) My Laptop was Equipped with GTX970M
2) While the other FHD Version is equipped with GTX965

So......

AnyOne... Pleeeeease tell Me that : Was it OK to DownGrade my MSI GE62 2QF UHD Display to FHD eventhough their GPU is Different?????
