Question 5.1 soundbar setup with PS4 and Sony TV

Hey there, would like to ask you guys for advise. I just bought a Sony HT S20R soundbar. please check if my setup is right for me to get 5.1 surround sound with Dolby/DTS. PS4 Pro is connected to the TV (Sony KD55X800H) via HDMI. TV > Soundbar via HDMI ARC. Is that the right setup to get the most optimize sound experience or do i connect the PS4 directly to the soundbar via optical cable? I feel like i am not getting the proper sound from the PS4

Try it both ways and see how it sounds like to you. You have all the equipment. Should be just fine the way you have it setup.
