Hey everyone!

Every time I start up my laptop I get these 5 beeps. I then have to turn off my laptop and the second time it starts up normally. Can anyone help me with this frustrating issue?

Thanks for reading.

It is informing you that the BIOS battery is dead. Little button cell (watch battery) found on the motherboard somewhere.

Basically means the BIOS won't retain settings between power cycles. Not a big deal if you haven't changed them from the default. You might also have issues the computer remembering the date and time.
