@kamik3k - The numbers don't lie. It's impressive to say the least. At this rate Apple will become a close second place player in the smartphone market (behind Nokia), and may even hit a double digit percentage market share on the computer front at the end of next year.
@Niva - Totally agree. I have an iPhone, but I also have my own Exchange server to go along with it. I love ActiveSync, and I believe (after setting up nearly every single type of OS and Smartphone on ActiveSync) that it is a much better user interface for navigating E-mails, Contacts, and Calendar items. There are cheaper alternatives out there in the Laptop and Desktop front, but working in the Customer Satisfaction Research biz, I can say that experience and word of mouth are powerful tools that Apple realizes and utilizes. We only have a few Mac's here at work. I'm more of an HP Mobile Workstation fan myself.
@Starhoof - It's called free marketing and publicity my friend. Every tech company tries to do this. Intel does this all the time with their road maps.
I'm not a Mac fan-boy. I'm work mostly on Windows and Linux networks, but you all have to admit that they're doing quite well right now...
