Hey guys, I'm looking for solid 17'' laptop for around $500 that will have around 6 hours of battery life. I know it seems like a far stretch, but I'm hoping someone might have a suggestion, because I'm having a little trouble finding one.


What is your budget? Approx. $500-600, lower the better

What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 17''

How much battery life do you need? Around 6 hours

Do you want to play games with your laptop? No gaming

What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? Will be using Skype

What country do you live in? United States
