Solved! 6ohm to 8ohm

I have yamaha 583 receiver with 5 8ohm speakers can i connect two 6ogm speakers with it.. Would it be fine.. The speakers are of Panasonic and rather 15 years old

Set the speaker impedance to 6 ohm, found on page 103 of your manual.

8 ohm speakers are fine run in 6 ohm mode, 6 ohm speakers run in 8 ohm mode are not.
