8 number not working

suddenly number 8 key has stopped working on my toshiba laptop.. what would be the reason and how to fix this problem??

its possible the keyboard is dying or could be something under the key. Does the key depress all the way like the others?

If it has died they are replaceable but you will need to by the same exact model keyboard for replacement.
