Hello! I have an old SONY CCD TRV58E camcorder and I want to play the video on my computer via an RCA to USB converter that has 3 slots (red/yellow/white). However, the camcorder only has a single port, named A/V out, which splits into a yellow cable and a black cable. Will it work or do I have to buy another converter?

The camera output is obviously video (yellow) and audio (black). Try plugging the yellow to yellow and the black to either the red or white. Then cross your fingers.

That's what I thought of originally. I had been using an almost identical camcorder when I was a kid, and used to do proprietary connections like this on a CRT TV that we had, and they would work. So yeah, like you said, fingers crossed, it should work. Thanks for the answer!
