Accessing Ring doorbell video

Does the Ring doorbell only provide video when someone rings the bell or can you access the camera at anytime?

Hello,
You can set the RING to constantly stream video. Enter the RING app. You should get a list of 'events' and at the top, 3 icons, left one should be your bell. Touch that icon and you should get a 'Live View' screen. Bottom right is an icon entitled 'Live View'. Enable that! It does significantly decrease battery life. If using by a mains supply, doesn't matter of course!
After you enable, you should be able to just access the camera feed via the 'LIVE VIEW' button ( times out on mine frequently.

If you have an Alexa device with a display or install Alexa on a Smartphone/Tablet just add device. Then "Alexa, show, [camera name]
