Acer 5516 battery not charging

Hello, I went on holidays and when I came back the battery no longer holds a charge. Is the battery pooched or is there something I can try?

How long have you had the battery? If you've had it for quite some time and it is the original, chances are that it is shot. Give CPUID Hardware Monitor a download, as it will tell you the condition of the battery, i.e. how much of a charge it can hold, etc... just to be sure.

Only about 7 Months, but I don't use it very much. Tried the CPUID and it says the battery is dead. Thanks for the tip. I guess I need to go find a new cheap one. Thanks again
