Acer AS 5740 freezing

Hello,
It seems to freeze with the battery installed, but not with no battery and operating on just ac adapter

I've never seen this problem in an Acer myself. Your best bet to rectify the issue would be to contact Acer support and see if they have a fix for it.

I have examined everythingm and I think I have figured out the problem. There is nothing wrong with the laptop. It is the Telus internet sick that plugs into the USB. The drivers for it may not be compatible with Windows 7 (64 bit).

Win 7 seems kinda pickey that way.
