Acer Aspire 3620 Blue Screen when shutting down

Notebook working perfectly, but refuses to shut down: Blue Screen, starting with " A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer .........................."

Switch off at power button, restart and everything seems to be fine.

Any suggestions?

Have you checked for updates from Acer? Maybe install service pack 1 and see if it fixes the problem.
