Solved! Acer aspire 5 turning on issue

I switched my acer aspire 5 on and it came on then it just went blank I've tried resetting the battery using the pin hole etc nothing has changed the charging light for the charger on the laptop was orange and the light on the battery was blue after about ten mins both lights were blue but it still a bank screen both lights are static they havnt blinked at all can anyone help thx

Remove the battery and try booting with the charger connected
