Solved! Acer Aspire 5672WLMi Board Damage

Hello, The sem-conductor device damaged on this board has 8 legs, labelled 4422 BA536R. On one side the solder pads are OK but the opposite side has heat damage. Sorry I forgot to mark the location of the damaged device which is at the bottom, slightly left of the middle of first photo link.

doubt it - its scored down atleast a layer of the pcb

motherboards can be browned but will still function aok, and generally once the damage has been done its simply not worth repair especially if that means a new motherboard etc
