ACER ASPIRE 5742-I3

At present this is being offered at £379. This seems a good price Is it?
I have a compaq nx9010 with .75 gb Ram which I find rather slow to use with Photoshop. Would the Acer be a good value replacement?

Hi!

Configs of this laptop is fantastic its definately a go head choice. I am interested in buying the same from Currys but I'll be going back to India in another two months. I am worried if the guarantee warranty on this laptop will still be valid in India.

Hard disk on Acer Aspire 5742 in Currys is 320GB and its for £399 whereas at Comet its 250 GB and £379.

I reckon Currys as rest seems same on the laptop.

Expecting your help about the guarantee warranty.
