The problem is probably staring me in the face but, my laptop has stopped charging, i tried a new DC jack and new adapter, but still same problem. i test to see if the voltage was putting through and i was getting 19V so was getting the right voltage any ideas?

I had the same problem with my Acer Aspire 5315. The cable inside your computer is probably broken that's what was wrong with mine. Just bring it to your local computer shop and they'll fix it.

i work in a computer shop but we are all stumped, we have tested cables and adapter but still no results

there was another solution, by reflowing a chip on the motherboard which can sometimes interfere with the charging

Have you tested the cable that runs in the charge hole of the computer?

i tested the charger with a volt meter and getting 19V out of it, pluged in the dc jack and the charger put the volt meter where the dc jack plugs into the motherboard and again getting 19V. and there are no cracks on the dc jack itself

You have a coil in the line from the DC jack to the first mosfet you must check. On my schematic it's L507, but maybe it's not the same number on your motherboard.
