Acer Aspire 9300

When I connect my satnav to my pc, it charges the satnav battery and I wondered if the same thing would happen if I connected my laptop via usb or a crossover ethernet cable to my pc. This is an old acer for which I have no charger and not wanting to go to any expense in case I cant bring it back from the dead. Thanks, Ron

No lol... the satnav is designed to charge from USB... 5 volts..

A laptop is designed to charge from its own charger (usually 19 volts)
