Acer Aspire D257 Cover swap

I'm looking to swap out my scratched plastic cover for a new one, anyone know the steps taken to do that?

Most people just buy the whole top from Ebay...or the NEW cover from Acer...

Yes, that is what I did, now I have to take the old one off and replace it with the new one... What are the mechanics?

Hi

REMOVE the small rubber pads covering the corner screws, remove the screws, then GENTLY lever the top apart etc...

There are plenty of Videos on YouTube to help you

One hint...just change the COVER ...NOT the whole top , or you will have to strip out all of the bottom chassis as well...
