Anyone any advice to help fix problem:-
Just updated old, slow laptop to Win 11. PC won't update so have managed to do a disc clone of its 240gb SSD back to its previous 120gb SSD C drive using Hasleo free software. The Hasleo Backup Suite Free 5.0 wouldn't clone but told me to download Hasleo's free WinToUSB, which allowed me to do the Clone. (Don't know whether I should have). I've now swapped the bigger SSD out and put the smaller Cloned SSD, mostly just Programs and Windows 10 in it's place and after switching on it mostly works. On a reboot takes a little longer with a black screen and a white cursor moving randomly around screen for a few seconds, then sometimes but not always, comes up with a message about keeping the USB plugged in? However, after clicking return on the CLOSE button with message, it just carries on to normal desktop. Eveything seems to be working correctly from this point.
The point of making the larger SSD spare is I'd like to use it in slow laptop to swap out its 1Tb slow HDD and upgrade to the now spare 240gb SSD. Anyone advice what free software I should use to Clone the HDD, which incudes Win 11, all programs and all my data - music, photos etc. but only using up 123Gb so should easily fit on the 220gb SSD

Thanks for that but I wanted to keep PC going until October when M/soft pull plug but at minimum expense as I don't use it as much now, occasionally using my laptop (which will now continue into the future as my Windows resource) and spending most of my time on my Android phone.

I have got free version of Macrium which I do regular PC backups on but that has no cloning option.
Also, I only need the laptop SSD for storing Windows as everything else - data and apps and programs are stored on usb drives. The 240gb SSD becomes totally spare in October when I have to dump my PC so no cost.
