Acer Aspire E15 First Run HELP! :)

Hey guys... I just unpacked my brand new Aspire E15, plugged it in, as the brochure suggested, turned it on, saw the aspire logo, but then it went off making a "I'm dying please God help me" sound, like 4 times the same... the light when you plug it to the power source still red/orange... the tech guy said to charge it for 6 hours before trying again (cause it is a new laptop), and that then the charge light should turn blue, so I'm waiting... do you guys know if it will possibly work, or it was just a trick to avoid my anger on the tech support line?

Hi,

Normally most laptop should be precharged meaning it should have at least 1-2 hours of battery life in it. If it won't turn on again do a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Put it back all together then power it on and see if it goes to the OOBE (Out of the Box Experience).
