Acer aspire one black screen repair laptop

I need help in restoring my laptop. My laptop starts up and the screen remains black. What should I do?????

For a unit of that value, most likely mainboard or pannel -- not worth repairing

Only thing is if the models with a ram slot, reseat it (if you can get to it)

If it is the lcd - get a replacement off ebay - did my son's for abot CDN$70.
