Acer Aspire One ZG5 (AOA110) Graphics Upgrade ?

Can someone help me out on how to improve the graphics performance on this laptop ?
I'm running Linux on it (Peppermint 3).

Basically, watching video's on this laptop is really slow and choppy.

I have upgraded the ram to 1.5GB (It has helped a little but not enough)

Upgrading to an SSD would be a big help trust me i know, had the seemed to have the same issue with my lifebook p1601 running windows 8 pro and i thought; "Hmm a even a 1.4GHz Core should be able to handle flash video and DVD playback this isnt right" (I had a friend good with a soldering iron). then i noticed that during DVD playback and JAVA (witch is especially notorious for eating up RAM, thank god it not near as bad as ITUNES :heink: ) that my HDD light would...

Thank you for your attempt to solve my issue.

The only thing wrong with your suggestion is that the laptop already has an 8gb SSD drive.
Although its not of best quality (the read and write speed is way below any standards of comfort/ability (for me at least))
