ACER Aspire R11 wont turn off but screen is black

The blue power light is on and wont turn off, The screen is black. When I plug the charger in it makes a beep and the orange charge light comes on and the blue on light remains. I have tried holding the power button in to get it to turn off but nothing. I have tried it with the adaptor plugged in and without.

Pull the battery and try with just adaptor
