I went to turn on my acer aspire and so screen went to acer page, then screen went blank, then it turned off and turned on again and showed the start uppage and its been on this loop for the past 2 hours! Acer won't help me because im out of warranty and there 3rd party tech support didnt help(i was on hold for 40 minutes because no one was available!) and i really need help with this. Please tell me what to do

Solution
I have figured out a way that worked for me!
[Process]
1. Power on System
2. When Screen Goes Black Spam F10 and ALT until System turns off
3. The Acer System will start up and then load to a blue screen that has options, choose the 2nd one
4. When the next screen loads choose reset device and choose which ever type of reset you want.
5. Your device will restore to the factory version and you should be able to go on with your laptop
[PLEASE NOTE]
If it says error resetting device then you need to get your laptop checked out by a specialist

Thank you
Note: If this problem started after an update (or system reinstall), please make sure the laptop is not connected to the internet in any way before you use the following instructions.

Try the following...

1. Power off the laptop.
2. Power on the laptop.
3. As soon as you see the rotating loading circle, press and hold the Power Button until the computer shuts off.
4. Repeat this process a few times until you see the "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen.
5. Now you want to let the laptop boot to the "Automatic Repair" screen.
6. Click "Advanced Options" and then select "Troubleshoot".
7. Here you want to select "Refresh your PC", if you do not wish to erase data, or "Reset your PC" to erase all data and restore your system.
8. From here just follow the screen instructions until the recovery is completed.

NOTE: You will need to get into the "Advanced Options" in order to get the "Refresh Option". This choice will keep your data, but any programs installed will be lost.

Do not do a "Reset" as that will wipe all data you have on the laptop.

Thanks for this! Turning power on and off wouldn't bring up anything.
I have been fighting with my Acer Aspire E 15 due to a full reset that got stuck at 52% and then remained in a boot loop and error because the install was interrupted. This alt - f10 worked. Acer logo comes up with loading rings then goes dark with ring then completely blank. Keep spamming the two keys all thru that and you're golden.
