Are you saying that you tried to connect a USB mouse to a port that wasn't actually a USB port, so the port got damaged a bit? If that is the case, then you need to have the port either repaired (if at all possible) or it would have to be replaced.

You may have sparked an electrical short. If the circuit board is now damaged, there's not much you can do other than replace it (unless you have a local tech that can repair it).
