Acer Chromebook backlight replacement

My laptop suddenly went black, but with a flashlight I can see my desktop working, please help. Thanks

Yep, sounds like you need a new backlight. Bit tough to help replace it over the internet though, buy a replacement and replace it or have a local tech do it. Probably not worth the money though unless you do it yourself, you can buy a working Chromebook for cheap.
