I know there are tons of such posts already here and I did read sticky post before posting this.
I found an old laptop in my storage, didn't even know it was there. It fired up real quick and seems to be working fine with Win 10 upgrade. I was pulling it apart to remove and replace some thermal paste on processor and that's when I thought if it is a good idea (or possibility) to upgrade the processor itself. Here are some details,
Model: Acer Aspire 5736Z
Processor: Old Core 2 Duo
Motherboard: MB.R4G02.001
Socket Type: PGA 989
Is there a possibility to upgrade the processor on this old laptop? Processor is removable for sure but wasn't sure if I can add an I3 or I5 to it. Thanks for the help guys
