Hello.
So, I have an Acer Aspire ES1-531 with a broken screen. I looked through my house and found another Acer Aspire but it's E1-570 model. I thought the screen will be the same like the ES1-531 model, but it's not. They have different ports, and I had a look on eBay for a screen and it's like 50 pounds, quite expensive. I was wondering, can I cut the good screen's cable and put the other connector to be able to put this screem into my ES1-531 laptop?

Solution
For everyone who has the same problem, I found the fix:

I disassembled both of screens and saw that the connector from the back of the screens are the same, so instead of cutting wires, I just changed the connector and it's working great.

Well.. none of them work so I can risk and make one to work. :)) the only thing I don't know is if they have the same wires or number or wires. Thanks for answering.
