acer laptop 9 years old how much is it worth

just trying to figure out how much a acer laptop that was purchased for me in grade 11 is worth it is 9 years old it still works fine the only thing wrong is one of the hinges holding the screen is popping out and i don't have a virus scanner on it

I can't imagine it's worth over 200 if that. It may be best to donate it to a church and get credit on your taxes.

I agree with rgd1101, a 9 yr old Acer with a bad hinge, $50 is probably a good price. I just sold an IBM T60p, a much better model than any Acer from that era for $75, and mine was in like new shape.
