Acer laptop charger problem

Hi,

Recently I bought a charger for my Acer Aspire V5-573G. Till then I used the stock charger by Delta Electronics, 19V 4.74A. The new charger is rated 19V 3.42A. and also a poor quality built. It gives 19.34V instead of 19.00V. Now my laptop does not start-up properly. Seems like the power button is dead, but after trying some long press it gets started. It also refuses to boot from my HDD. Now I replaced it with an SSD from my PC and doing so works.

Is the poor quality charger causing the problem? I think my SSD is at a risk in my laptop.

There's always a risk of using a 3rd party replacement parts of a laptop because you're not sure about the build quality. If you're looking an OEM charger, you can always order them from ACER themselves or from a reputable seller in Ebay or Amazon.
