Can you please confirm if your laptop doesn't have any battery or it is no more functioning or damaged? If you have been using your laptop without any battery and directly from the power supply, you can easily hard reset it. To do so:
> Unplug your laptop from the power adapter.
> If there is any battery, remove it. (If it doesn't have battery, simply unplugging the power adapter would do.)
> Press and hold down the Power button for 45-60 seconds.
> Release the Power button.
> Connect the power adapter and try turning it on this time.
If the above solution fails to resolve the issue, you can try clearing the CMOS. To do so:
> Open the back panel of your laptop.
