Acer Laptop with miscrosoft problems

When my microsoft word stopped working on my laptop I went into task manager and ended the task from there but I must have pressed the wrong thing because now I have no home screen and the only way I can use my laptop is if I run tasks from my task manager. Can anyone help me?

This should have fixed itself on the next restart but if you haven't done that lately, go back nto Task Manager and select the Processes tab. From the File menu and then New Task (Run) and type explorer.exe into the box then press Enter.
