Hey guys,
I've got an S7-392 that's been causing some problems with me this year. Now, while I was just on pandora internet radio my windows 8.1 machine pulled up the "🙁 your computer has run into an issue is needs to report data etc. etc." screen, was stuck at 0% and then rebooted into this screen that tells me there is no bootable device/it may have failed. I've tried going into the bios; the hard drive is listed. Changing to legacy mode also did not solve anything.
My bios is a bit outdated though, and the website states that updating it will fix bootable device errors...is there anyway I can update the bios with my machine in this bricked state?
Otherwise, Acer is trying to get me to send my laptop out again for another 2 week absence and at my personal cost (when I was getting it checked out previously for bizarre markings on the display, it ran me something absurd, like 80 bucks to ship it with insurance. I'm not doing this twice in a year), As a college student this is really something I cant afford, time or money wise!
The forum is always super helpful and I appreciate any time given here!
