I just put a comment on that guy's blog. You should see the comments in there. Gotta love when people pass judgment without knowing both sides first.

Just read the whole blog too, comments as well. I don't think anyone there even read the Tom's article. They blindly passed off judgment, which is worse in my opinion. Tom's Hardware Guide has always been spot on for the most part... Not like some other sites (Inq cough cough, even though I love that site too!).

Adobe is arrogant, no question about that. And who cares, they should have been glad to get the PR. Now they're just looking stupid when TOM's calls them out and prints the facts. Let's see that video! Adobe will be giving free copies of CS4 to all Tom's staff members before said and done.

To the author of this article, did you even read the blog???

When he is talking about TG Daily, he is talking about www.tgdaily.com, not toms guide! How dumb of you to assume without even clicking on the link.

Perhaps the main mistake the authors here have made is to make the association between CS Next and CS4. Speaking as a software engineer who develops platforms for living, Next sounds like a next generation platform, not necessarily the next version of the end software product that runs on that platform. It may be quite a few releases until the software is moved to that platform, though it certainly could be the very next release too...
