Hello. I will explain my situation
Recently, i´ve been admitted in a postgraduate school. We have been asked to get a laptop.
We are only going to use it for power point, word and maybe cropping some photos. Also for web search.
What is the cheapest laptop i can get?

1. What is your budget?
As cheap as possible

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
14+

3. What screen resolution do you want?
Doesnt really matter. 720?

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable

5. How much battery life do you need?
Never had a laptop, so I dont know what is normal

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
If i could play league of legends it would be great, BUT I PREFER IT TO BE CHEAPER and lack gaming chances

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
BASIC photo edition, power point, word and web surf

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
50/60 Gb should do it, just to store the photos and the mentioned software

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
Maybe pccomponentes.com but dont worry, ill try to search your reccommendation

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
at least 2 years, for the same tasks

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
I dont use cd

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

I´ve read that lenovo is a good brand, but i just want it to last until dec 2014

13. What country do you live in?
Spain

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

I also want to change my desktop pc, and I considered to get a gt70 msi for both gaming and master, but I´m worried about the duratioin of a laptop. I don´t know anyone who has had a laptop for more than 3 years, and I dont want this to happen. If you think this is a good idea, please let me know, but I think the best option is to get the cheapest laptog and a good desktop computer.

Sorry if my english is not good. If you dont understand anything, please tell me

Thank you so much

And the question is...

Do you think Iḿ going to need it? The functions will be that:
Word, cropping photos, power point and chrome.
Is it worth to spend more money?

Anyway, thank you very much!
