Question Advice on buying one of these laptops

So after getting nothing but bitchy comments on various facebook pages along the lined of "omg get a tower you scrub" etc I'm hoping the group here can help me make a choice on buying one of these laptops, I do not have the physical room to get a tower in my room so its either go big on one of these or nothing lol my currnt laptop is ok (for £500) that my mum got me for my 30th two years ago.

I have a small ammount of tech knowledge but not a huge amount this is a case of little nerd needing help from the bigger nerds only thing im a bit narked off with is no disc drive on these lol means having to rebuy some games on digital.

The aim of these is for gaming I'd like to play total warhammer 2 etc on higher settings than mud and potatoes, it runs barely on my current machine

My budget is around £950 to £1200 I'm saving £100 a month till August when I get paid twice from work, average wage is £940 a month (I work in retail) the prices of these machines keep going up and down lol I spent the weekend looking at these, I was up late so if I've chosen the same model my apologies a combo of working all easter weeknd and bad sleep.

If this will be your main system, you probably want to get something with a 17" screen if you are OK with the size of them. The 1,000 MSI should be fine for you, just keep in mind you will need to install and run many programs off the second slower 1tb drive not the 128 gb solid state.

I have been watching this thread all day lol and the second I leave to go play conan exiles on my ps4 I get a reply XD talk about sods law, my immensly tired brain and body assumes you mean this model?

I'm fine with the slower load times etc thank you for the reply are there any cooling pads etc you'd reccomend for me? my current laptop runs fine but this planned one is gonna run hotter etc so I want to make sure I'm as prepped as possible so it lasts as long as possible as if im sinking a grand into a machine I want it to last as long as possible
