Reading this article is an adware for Avast.

@house70 While I agree it takes Avast at its word for a problem I have never seen personally. It does not say that Avast is the only antivirus/antimalware product that fixes the problem.
"Simply uninstall the app, then use an Android antivirus product to scan your phone for any leftover adware."
