i got a hp pavilion 23-b010 all in one pc from goodwill and then i discovered it was more than junk as a pc goes. what i would like to do is disable the actual pc and just use the monitor as an extension monitor on my hp laptop. i have not yet tried just connecting the pc together as i do not want to risk the laptop for a possible feedback.

so maybe someone here that is a pc builder may know and maybe tell me what i may need to do to the AIO to disable everything but the monitor?

thanks

Unlikely that is possible.

That requires purpose built circuitry to accept a video signal.
