Alien Ware 17 laptop AMD HD8970M upgrade

I have an Alien Ware 17 Laptop with an AMD HD8970M, I was told it can be upgraded however no one will touch it so I'm wondering what I could upgrade too and I'll get the parts myself.

Does anyone know what it can go too?

Honestly, even if you could upgrade it's not worth it. Your laptop is so old by now that your much better off buying a newer laptop.
