Alienware 13 hdmi out issue

I just got a alienware 13 and my graphics amp is on the way. I tried connecting my laptop to an hdmi out

Nothing happens. I have tried the fn key and f8. I've tried windows key and p. Nothing works. I went into the Nvidia settings and made sure my 860 is the dominant video card

The only other thing I can think of is I don't have the Intel video card driver installed. It says Microsoft basic display next to the gtx 860m
