Alienware M17 R3 Shut Off Won't Turn On

My Alienware M17 R3 randomly shut off the other night while I was playing a game. It was plugged in. The power adapter cord was not lit up. I unplugged the adapter from the wall and plugged it back in. The light on the cable turns on but once I plug it into the computer it shuts off. The laptop does not turn on what so ever. It's only 8 months old. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

8 months old = in warranty. Contact Dell for support instead of messing with it yourself.
