All Home Theatre In Box need recivers? Connecting to pc

Ok so ive been looking at the speakers and was confused, I found this
http://www.jr.com/onkyo/pe/ONK_SKSHT540/ Is this system good? My question is that can i hook this up without having any recivers like from 3.5mm jack, and all the color coded for various speakers?

Oh and here's the original thread I started with all the info about speakers im looking for and all, Got no repliees 🙁

Alright thanks. Can you reccommend some 5.1 speakers for pc? That are gonna used for music, games, and a bit of movies
