Amd A10 8700p + R5 m330 VS i3 6006u + GT920MX

Hi, could you please help me to choose over these laptops? Both are ASUS brand with similar price.

1. Asus X441UV - WX092D
Intel i3 6006u, DDR4 4GB, HD 500GB, Nvidia GT920MX 2GB, 14"

2. Asus X455DG - WX027D
AMD A10 8700p, DDR4 4GB, HD 1TB, AMD radeon R5 m330 2GB, 14"

I need it for office works with multitasking, photo/video editing, and some gaming (not ultra game).

The Radeon R5 M330 is definitely less powerful than the nVidia 920mx. It is only slightly more powerful than the Intel HD 520 in the i3-6100u.

While the core i3-6100u is only a dual core CPU (with Hyper Threading), synthetic benchmarks indicates it performs better than the quad core A10-8700p. I don't know anything about Photoshop performance, but video encoding is very CPU intensive and the i3-6100u performs better on the first encoding pass, but only marginally better in the second encoding pass.

Hi jaguarskx, thanks for your input. If i take out the option to edit video, will the i3 still performs better by larger scale?

The i3-6100u generally performs better than the A10-8700p. See link below for synthetic benchmark results. Higher numbers means better performance in most cases. However, for SuperPI lower is better.
