Hi
I am confused between lenovo g50-45 and lenovk g50 80.

LENOVO G50-45 :
8gb ram
3gb Amd Radeon R5 graphic card
1TB disk space
AMD A8 6410, 2.0 Ghz with turbo boost upto 2.9 with integrated 3gb graphics

LENOVO G50-80 :
8gb ram
2gb Amd Radeon R5
1TB space
Intel i3 4th gen.

I'd do coding; watching movies and playing dota 2.

which sounds a better deal?

The A8-6410 is a bit less powerful than a Core i3 CPU and that is assuming all 4 cores are being used in the A8 APU which will not be the case most of the time. It's integrated Radeon R5 (Beema) graphics core is a little less powerful than the Intel HD 4000 found in Ivy Bridge generation Intel Core CPUs.

Not sure why the G50-80 is listed with the "AMD Radeon R5" because all models of the G50-80 (that I know of) relies on the Haswell generation integrated Intel HD 4400 graphics core which is more powerful than the Intel HD 4000.

The G50-80 is better.
