Amd phenom ii triple-core p820 upgrade

is there a secret 4th core for this cpu or a better alternative i could fit

As I understand it all of the triple cores have dormant 4th core. As to weather or not you have a 4th core that is viable or not is a complete crap shoot. Some will work stable but some will not. You may also be limited by the Mobo you choose.
